It’s time for another business of the month, I’m super psyched about April because it’s extra tasty and everyone can enjoy it. It’s about time I spoke about some food on my main food blog, isn’t it? I’m proud to be talking about Kookaloney this month, meal kits to make vegan food easier.
I got sent some exciting vegan food kits and I couldn’t wait to try them. The falafel dry mix, hummus dry mix and the very yummy ultimate falafel kit. I’ve tried them all individually, so has my partner and I couldn’t wait to tell people what I really thought about them!
Why I love Kookaloney
Kookaloney is bringing Levantine cuisine to the everyday dinner table. Let’s face it, when we have dinner it’s all pretty much the same unless we go for a takeaway and that can be expensive. With these simple meal kits you’re not having to spend a fortune and yet you’re experiencing something new that you wouldn’t have before.
All their meal kits are seriously stupidly easy to make, taking hardly any time at all, and are totally hassle free. You won’t need hundreds of ingredients to make it and it couldn’t be more simple. Not to mention the kits I’m talking about today are totally vegan, all round healthy, and anyone can enjoy them.
Seriously, I don’t know what’s not to like. I’d go as far as saying I think the whole product looks amazing and like something you’d actually want in your kitchen. Gone are the day of plain cardboard boxes and waste of cardboard for no reason!
Kookaloney – Falafel Dry Mix
I’m about to admit something and people might hate me for it but that’s fine. I’m not the biggest fan of falafel, I’ve tried to make it and I find it falls apart and taste bland and boring. So I have to say a big thank you to Kookaloney for actually making a falafel kit that packs a whole load of flavour and makes me want to actually eat the falafel!
This kit is super easy to use, perfect for beginners who haven’t made falafel before and if I can do it anyone can. They’re ready in 15 minutes, or 20 if you’re me and need to read the instructions a few times and I can’t get enough!
Kookaloney – Hummus Dry Mix
I’ve never liked hummus and I’m not going to lie, however, I gave this hummus mix a try and I’m 50/50 with it. However, my partner thought it was amazing and couldn’t get enough of it all and said it was amazing! He’s almost as fussy as I am so if you like hummus, you’ll love this vegan hummus kit!
The best part is, you can get this kit for under £4 on Amazon which I think is just unreal! Go to a big supermarket for a similar product and you’re looking at £5 minimum! There’s enough for two people to enjoy and if you’re hosting a party, buy a few kits and make everyone jealous.
Kookaloney – Falafel Kit
If you’re looking for something that would work well in a big dinner or maybe a dinner party this falafel kit is what you need. As it’s vegan it’s great for hosting parties or dinner nights because everyone can enjoy it and you don’t have to worry about someone eating something that doesn’t go with their diet.
It’s super cheap, great quality and personally, I can’t speak highly enough. The taste is out of this world and it has everything you need in the box so you don’t have to go shopping before you make it! Enjoy it.
Do I Like Kookaloney?
Well personally I thought that was obvious, of course, I do. I can’t get enough of the stuff and I’ve ordered more off Amazon so if they’re sold out that’s totally my fault and I’m not even sorry for it. They’re one of the meal kits that take no time at all, totally vegan and healthy and honestly, I’m a happy bunny.
I love that the Kookaloney kits are totally GMO free, contains no palm oil at all and they have a vegan range. They’re showing that the environment is worth fighting for.
I will say they offer a vegan range and also a “normal” range for their customers so there’s something for everyone. So if you’re thinking, oh I don’t want the vegan stuff that’s fine because they have more to offer. There’s literally something for everyone.
