If you want a quick and easy Christmas vegan recipe, this is one that you’ll love. It’ll take you no more than 10 minutes and everyone can enjoy as it’s totally vegan; however, it does contain nuts so it isn’t a nut free recipe I’m afraid.
The thing I love about this chocolate truffle recipe is that you can adapt it however you see fit. If you find some nice vegan white chocolate you can cover it in white chocolate, if you’re not a fan of almonds then use another nut, or maybe a fruit like chopped cranberries? However, you want these vegan truffles you can do! They’re simple, quick and will have everyone falling in love with them and they look so professional as well it’s unreal.

Baking With Marzipan
Marzipan is an ingredient that a lot of people don’t use, completely underate and don’t know what to do with! Well, this 2 ingredient truffle recipe should be a good start to everyone who wants to use marzipan but doesn’t know where to start.

Vegan Marzipan Truffle Recipe
Now you can decorate these however you want, or just not at all. As you can see I’ve used blitzed almonds on top of mine, I think they’re nicer than flaked almonds if I’m honest. I’ve also used candy canes and sprinkles to give them that Christmas party effect so that everyone can enjoy.
Christmas Vegan Marzipan Truffles
- 500g Marzipan
- 200g Chocolate
- 20g Blitzed almonds
- Divide your marzipan equally and roll into balls. The size is up to you.
- Melt the chocolate, once melted dip the marzipan balls and cover completley. Decorate if you want with almonds or other treats.
- Leave to set in the fridge for a minimum of 10 minutes before enjoying.
