Baked Lemon Donuts
These donuts are baked in the oven, it means there’s hardly any work done and it’s a really simple donut recipe for everyone to enjoy. I found that with the right donut tray you can make quite a few and have them all coming out looking perfect, I’d smooth the top of the donuts before putting them in the oven so that you don’t get any lumps or bumps.
After 12 minutes in the oven, the donuts are ready to come out, with this easy lemon donut recipe I found that they smelled amazing and it’s something to cook if you want the kitchen to smell like you’ve been cooking!

Iced Lemon Donuts
I loved adding the icing to these donuts, I made a huge mess and it was nice and fun. I added lemon juice and lemon zest into the icing sugar and then topped with lemon fudge and the whole lemon package was amazing. At the end of the day if you don’t make a mess in the kitchen are you even cooking right? I would suggest decorating donuts on a wire rack, that way anything that drips down will fall onto the counter and is easily cleaned away.
If you love donuts as much as I do I’d suggest taking a look at my Baked Chocolate Donut Recipe as they are to die for! These donuts go down a treat in the office as well so if you want people on your side try these.
