I love cheesecakes but I’ve never been able to have any without feeling unwell after due to not being able to have too much dairy and that’s a huge shame. Which is why I came up with these vegan cheesecake, well mini vegan cheesecakes anyway. If you have a party coming up and you fancy something a little different to serve, I’d every time suggest these mini cheesecakes. They happen to be a new firm favourite in my house and I love to make them as the simple vegan cheesecake recipe is all you need! It really doesn’t take long at all.
Dairy Free Vegan Cheesecake
So this is of course a dairy free cheesecake, of course you can have a cheesecake without the cheese; who knew! As I said before I can’t have too much dairy before I start to become unwell, which means this recipe is amazing for me. So for people who can’t have lactose this is also a lactose free cheesecake recipe as it has no dairy, the benefits of not having dairy in food is amazing for me and I’m always on the look out for new dairy free recipes like this dairy free cheesecake recipe. So keep any eye out for more recipes soon. If you enjoyed this non dairy cheesecake let me know in the comments, I can’t be the only one to love it’s dairy free goodness!
Oreo Based Vegan Cheesecake
So here’s the thing, I see loads of cheesecake recipes out there with the cheesecake base made up of so many ingridents. Just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean it has to be difficult or expensive. So the base for this is made up of oreo biscuits which are totally vegan, the normal ones that is I don’t know about the others. So this oreo cheesecake recipe only mean the base. I didn’t want to overload the cheesecake with oreo goodness as I know not everyone likes that. Also this is one of them no bake oreo cheesecakes which I love. You can use the fridge and it does all the work for you, what’s not to love. So if you came to look for an easy oreo cheesecake recipe, you came to the right place that’s for sure!
Also as you can see these cheesecakes are mini, if you want to make a full size cheesecake you can do so you just need a bigger tin. However I must say I love the mini oreo cheesecake designs and they fill you up without overdoing it and eating too much! Don’t use too much milk in the oreo mix otherwise it gets a little too wet.
No Bake Cheesecake Recipe
I must admit I’m not the biggest fan of bake cheesecake recipes and they never seem to turn out right, maybe one day in the future I’ll master the art and upload a recipe or two. However I love this non bake cheesecake recipe, it’s easy, simple and doesn’t take loads of time. You can speed things up by adding them into the freezer although I must admit I like to give my cheesecakes a bit more time and place them in the fridge.
No Bake Vegan Cheesecake Flavours
I know a lot of people think that a vegan cheesecake isn’t going to taste that nice, not true. I’ve added various bits into the recipe so that the cheesecake does taste amazing. For example lemon juice and lemon zest to bring out the flavours. Also I’ve seen a few recipes call for cashews only, I like to add a few hazlenuts into the mix to give it a really nice kick when you try it. Also people who aren’t fan of nuts, it doesn’t taste like a nut cheesecake so I’ve got you covered, although this isn’t a nut free vegan cheesecake so if you have a nut allergy it’s not for you; sorry.
Remember if you fancy making even more than just double the ingreidents, the recipe should be enough for a full size cheesecake if you wish.
