Double-Chocolate Vegan Chocolate Cookies
You might have guessed that I’m in love with vegan cookies at the moment? There are so many different flavour combinations you can try and whoever said you’re limited has never sat down and tried to make as many vegan cookie recipes as possible, this vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe, however, has to be my favourite out of all the ones I’ve done so far!
I ended up eating quite a few after they came out of the oven, I’m surprised I even managed to get any photos to show them off before I ate them all! This really is a quick recipe, the quick cookies bake in 10 minutes and it takes you 4-5 minutes to prep everything, what more could you possibly want?
Tips For Baking Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
With these cookies, I have a few tips that will come in handy, trust me! They’re dark in colour which means you need to stick to the baking time, if you leave them in the oven for too long they will go rock hard and you won’t want to eat them. Leave them in there for the right time and they’ll be chewy and delicious!
I’d also suggest getting a non-stick silicone baking tray/mat because it means you can stop using baking parchment, saving money and the environment in the process. They’re also great to use for easy baking as transferring the cookies from the tray to the cooling rack is a piece of cake, or in this case cookie!

Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies UK
Now, this is a UK recipe which means all the measurements are in UK format, which I find so much easier to use as I can’t work out cups to save my life. However, if you need to figure it all out I’ve found this easy conversion guide chart post that will come in handy!
One last tip I will throw out there, make sure all your ingredients are 100% vegan, companies are always changing what goes into food and you need to make sure! Just because you’ve always used a product doesn’t mean they won’t change what goes into it! If you’re a bit worried about the butter you can also change it so it’s vegan chocolate chip cookies coconut oil style which you can find in most supermarkets.
